ABPA and CREF Team Up for Scholarships

The Automotive Body Parts Association (ABPA) and the Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) need your help to create and fund an ABPA-sponsored high school/college collision student scholarship for early 2016.

CREF students

After the first of the year, the CREF will be announcing over $200,000 in various scholarships and tool grants that are available for collision repair students across the country. Online applications will be available through mid-February and the winners of each of the scholarships/tool grants will be announced in the spring.

ABPA members are asked to make a year end, tax deductible donation to the CREF. Donation from ABPA members will be pooled together to create several ABPA-named scholarships. The more donations received, the bigger the scholarships will be! Your donation of $250, $500, $750, or whatever amount you may be able to give by the end of the year is greatly appreciated.

We are requesting that you contact CREF Director of Development Brandon Eckenrode by the end of the year to notify him of the amount that you are able to donate (either online or by mailing a check). Give what you can by December 31 to gain all applicable tax deductions.

The ABPA scholarship will be offered through CREF after the New Year and then the winners will be highlighted at our 2016 conference in Miami.

Thanks in advance for your support!
