House Bill 4344 passed the Michigan State Senate yesterday afternoon by a wide margin. The bill has now moved back to the House of Representatives for concurrence. If that occurs it will be passed into law.

This bill will have a disastrous effect on the aftermarket parts industry in Michigan, will cost consumers millions of additional dollars, and could create a precedent for other states to follow.

Because there has been much negative press and vocal opposition to this bill, its sponsor is attempting to quickly bring the bill up for a vote on the House floor, as early as today. If you are a Michigan resident we need your help to prevent the automakers from monopolizing the auto repair industry in the state.
