As we enter the final days before the ABPA Meeting in Nashville next week, I want to reach out for a few last moment reminders prior to the meeting.
For those attending in person – We will have a smaller meeting as expected with many opting to join us virtually. With that said, we will be providing our attendees with a safe meeting space with guidelines in place with the site hotel along with additional guidelines the ABPA will be requiring of in-person attendees. These requirements include proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of the meeting. Either one of these will need to be shown prior to picking up your badges. We will also have the meeting space set up for social distancing with more tables for attendees – additional information can be found on the ABPA website. Those of you joining us in person will not be disappointed in the site hotel, the Nashville Renaissance, as their food selections, atmosphere and downtown location is excellent.
For those attending virtually – All virtual attendees will have access to the speaker presentations during the Thursday business session. In addition, virtual attendees will have the ability to chat and ask the speakers questions. If you have signed up for a virtual registration already, you will receive your link and password two days prior to the event.
Registration for both in-person and virtual options is still live!
In closing, I cannot thank enough people for making this event a reality in 2021. We have tremendous support from our sponsors and the ABPA Board and Convention Committee is to be commended for their hard work. It has been a challenging period since the last meeting in 2019 and the upcoming meeting is our first step in continuing to move forward and get back to normal. I hope that many of you will join us and participate in the Nashville convention. If you are not able to join us in Nashville, we hope to see you during our Spring 2022 meeting! Details will be announced soon.
Best regards,
Ed Salamy
