Smithfield, RI — The 2022 Annual Meeting & Trade show of the Automotive Body Parts Association (ABPA) will be held May 3-May 6, 2022, at the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach located in Newport Beach, CA. The event is a gathering of aftermarket parts manufacturers, distributors, insurance industry executives, and collision repair companies. In addition to the ABPA’s business meetings, the event features keynote speakers who will discuss legislative, legal and management topics, as well as educational breakout sessions. More details and online registration for the event can be found at the ABPA’s website. Attendees can reserve a hotel package that includes a room rate of $199 per night.
“Our 2021 Convention held in Nashville was a great success with attendees having the option to participate both in-person and virtually,” said Ed Salamy, Executive Director of the ABPA. “Our Annual Meeting is a fantastic opportunity for the leaders and business owners of the aftermarket parts industry to get together, discover the latest trends, and make valuable connections.”
Registration is now live for the event with early-bird pricing being offered for a limited time. Attendees for the 2022 ABPA Newport Beach Convention will have the opportunity to participate either virtually or in-person. The annual ABPA Golf Invitational is also back with a full event planned at the nearby Strawberry Farms Golf Club.
With business travel on the rise, it is expected to be a popular in-person event. Covid regulations, if any, will be announced soon and attendees will be able to switch their in-person registration for a virtual registration up to 30 days before the event, should they desire.
Salamy added, “The annual ABPA meeting is always both fun and educational for our attendees. An exciting speaker lineup and off-site events for attendees will be announced over the upcoming weeks. The ABPA Board and I look forward to a large gathering of members in Newport Beach!”
