The Automotive Body Parts Association (ABPA) has a robust lineup for attendees of the 2023 Nashville Convention.
Kicking off the Thursday morning session at 8AM will be Brandon Eckenrode of the Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) who will be updating attendees of the CREF program as well as providing special recognition to ABPA members who have been contributing to local tech schools in need. Following Brandon will be Stacey Miller of the Auto Care Association who will be providing a “Global Overview of Right to Repair”. Attendees will receive an in-depth overview of the Right to Repair movement from Washington DC to the EU and what it means to ABPA members and our industry.
Starting at 9AM, ABPA Chair Chris Northup will be hosting a highly anticipated panel discussion titled “Current & Future Industry Trends”. Participating in the panel will be a group of various collision industry leaders including Northup, Scott Kohl of Kemper, Don Hermanek of Insurance Auto Auctions, Odum Wu of Tractable AI, and Leslie Jones of CCC.
Tony Cotto of the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC) follows the panel discussion and will cover the numerous business, legislative, and regulatory pressures facing auto insurers in 2023 and beyond.
Last but not least for the morning session, the Certified Automotive Parts Association (CAPA) will provide a fun-filled interactive session of “Who Wants to be a CAPAnaire”. ABPA attendees will be able to test their knowledge of the CAPA Program and see if their industry segment is the best!
After the morning business session, there will be a full afternoon of educational breakout sessions. Details of the sessions can be found online.
