The Automotive Body Parts Association (ABPA) is calling on our Southern California members to step up and support the next generation of collision repair professionals by contributing essential new, undented parts for the upcoming SkillsUSA California State Contests!
Why Your Support Matters
SkillsUSA is a premier competition that prepares students for careers in collision repair and refinishing. This year’s Small Dent Repair test, hosted at Riverside City College, requires new, undamaged e-coated panels for 24 contestants. Each student will perform three key dent repair techniques:
- ✅ Metal finishing a dent using a hammer and dolly
- ✅ Repairing a crease with body filler and icing
- ✅ Glue Pull Repair on a golf ball-sized dent
What’s Needed?
We are seeking new, undented small fenders, quarter panels, or door skins—preferably identical panels—so that each student can work with the same materials under fair and consistent conditions.
Where & When to Send Donations
To ensure the competition’s success, donated parts must be delivered no later than Wednesday, April 2, 2025, to:
📍 Seidner’s Collision Center
c/o Gene Lopez
1000 Evergreen Street
Duarte, CA 91010
How You Can Help
If your company can contribute new, undented parts, please arrange your donation as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the industry, support education, and help prepare a well-trained workforce for the future.
