ABPA & CAPA Encourage Members to Support Collision Repair Schools Through CREF

The Collision Repair Education Foundation (CREF) operates the Donation Exchange program — a platform that connects new, undamaged parts from our industry to collision repair schools in need. These schools rely on quality components for hands-on training, and many operate with limited budgets.

The ABPA and CAPA are encouraging ABPA distributor members to donate new, undamaged, CAPA-Certified parts through this program. Providing high-quality certified components ensures students are training with the same standards our industry depends on.

Why Your Participation Matters

  • Students need reliable, real-world parts for proper training.
  • Participation is simple and demonstrates strong industry stewardship.

How to Get Started

Visit the donor page:
https://www.donation-exchange.org/donors

Create a donor profile, list the CAPA-Certified parts you can provide, and CREF will coordinate placement with the appropriate schools.

Additional Ways to Support

ABPA members interested in contributing other types of used parts or financial support are encouraged to reach out to Brandon Eckenrode, Executive Director of CREF, at brandon.eckenrode@ed-foundation.org. Brandon is eager to discuss additional opportunities for ABPA members to support collision repair students and training programs nationwide.
